Material & Care

Jewellery can last a lifetime if you take good care of it. To preserve the beauty
of your pieces for as long as possible, I recommend the following:

  • Make it a habit to put on your jewellery as the last thing in the morning. Avoid direct contact with perfume, hairspray, lotion, and sunscreen.
  • Remove your jewellery during activities that could scratch or damage the piece – such as when sleeping, exercising, showering, cleaning, sunbathing, and swimming.
  • Store your jewellery in the provided box or pouch to reduce oxidation, and ensure they are kept separate to avoid scratches.

Gold Plated Jewellery
Gold plating will wear off over time. This is inevitable, but by following the advice above, you can significantly extend its lifespan. If your jewellery needs re-plating, I offer this as a service for a small fee.

Cleaning Your Jewellery
(Sterling silver and solid gold only)

  1. Mix a few drops of mild dish soap with lukewarm water.
  2. Gently clean the jewellery with a soft brush or toothbrush.
  3. Rinse in water and dry with a soft, lint-free cloth.

Note: This method should not be used on jewellery with pearls, as they are highly
sensitive to chemicals and moisture. Pearls should only be wiped with a soft, dry cloth.
