The Process
1. The journey begins when you book a consultation via the contact form or email. Feel free to share your initial ideas, your budget, and any specific deadlines. This allows me to prepare for our conversation in the best possible way.
2. We meet either physically at the workshop or through a digital call. Here, we will discuss your wishes and ideas for the piece, explore material options, and find the design that perfectly captures your story.
3. Once we have a direction and the design is approved, the work of creating what you have dreamed of begins. Every piece is handcrafted in my Copenhagen workshop, with a focus on uncompromising quality and traditional craftsmanship. This is where the metal and stones are brought to life.

How long does the process take?
The lead time depends on the complexity of the piece. For jewellery from my existing collections made with your own gold and stones, it typically takes 2-4 weeks. For a completely new bespoke design, the process takes 3-8 weeks.
Delivery times may vary depending on the current workload in the workshop, but I always strive to have the piece finished by our agreed deadline. If you need a piece sooner, please reach out – we will look at the possibilities and find a solution together.
What is the cost?
The price depends on the complexity of the design and the choice of materials. I always work within an agreed budget, ensuring we have a clear framework before the crafting begins.
What if the ring size is incorrect?
Finding the perfect fit can be a challenge, especially with engagement rings. Therefore, I offer one complimentary size adjustment. This applies to differences of 1-2 sizes. If a larger adjustment is needed, or if the design does not allow for resizing, we will discuss the best possible solution.
Bespoke Terms & Conditions
- Return Policy: As bespoke jewellery is custom-made to your specific requirements and measurements, the standard right of withdrawal does not apply. The piece cannot be returned or exchanged once production has commenced.
- Design Rights: Elling Studio retains all rights to the final design. While the piece is created in collaboration with you, the artistic and intellectual property remains with Elling Studio. Please note that I preserve the rights of all designs to be used in future collections or other projects.
