At ELLING STUDIO, we want you to be satisfied with your purchase. To give you peace of mind, we offer an extended return period for standard items, while maintaining specific rules for our personalized creations.


30-Day Return Policy

For standard, non-personalized products, we have a 30-day return policy, which means you have 30 days after receiving your item to request a return.

  • To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging.
  • You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.


Exceptions: Custom-Made and Engraved Items

Important: In accordance with the Danish Consumer Contracts Act (Forbrugeraftaleloven § 18, stk. 2, nr. 3), the right of withdrawal does not apply to goods made to your specifications or clearly personalized.

The following items are final sale and cannot be returned, refunded, or exchanged:

  • Custom-made or bespoke jewelry created specifically for your requirements.
  • Products with personalized engravings (e.g., rings or pendants with names, dates, or specific symbols).

Once the production or engraving process of such an item has begun, the order is considered final and non-refundable.


How to Start a Return

To start a return for a standard product, you must contact us at hello@ellingstudio.com.

  • If your return is accepted, we will provide instructions on how and where to send your package. Please note that the item must be dispatched to us within 14 days of approval. If the item is not sent within this timeframe, the return request will expire.
  • Return Shipping: Unless the item is defective, the customer is responsible for the cost of return shipping.
  • Shipping Recommendation: We strongly recommend using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We cannot guarantee that we will receive your returned item, and the responsibility for the goods remains with you until they reach our address.
  • Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted.

Damages and Issues (Reclamation)

Please inspect your order upon reception. If the item is defective or damaged, contact us immediately. Your purchase is protected by the Danish Sale of Goods Act (Købeloven), providing a 24-month right to claim for defects that were present at the time of delivery.


Refunds

We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method within 10 business days.

Please note that if an item is returned in a condition that diminishes its value (e.g., scratches, signs of wear, or missing original packaging), we reserve the right to deduct an amount corresponding to the decrease in value from the refund.
